The jacket’s fixed two-layer waterproof membrane ensures dependable protection against rain and wind, while direct ventilation panels allow riders to regulate airflow for comfort during warmer conditions. A detachable thermal liner offers added insulation for cooler weather, and the removable softshell hood provides casual functionality off the bike.
The Zaca also features a new internal design optimized for protective upgrades. It includes double back protector compartments to accommodate both standard and extended back protectors, plus easy-access chest protector pockets. Pant connection loops ensure a secure fit when paired with compatible riding pants, enhancing overall safety and cohesion.
Tech-Air® Ready, the jacket is designed to integrate seamlessly with Alpinestars‘ Tech-Air® 5 or Tech-Air® 3 Airbag Systems. Strategically placed stretch panels ensure the jacket can expand when the airbag deploys, maintaining rider comfort and safety during inflation.
